Breakfast Club

Welcome to the Free Breakfast Club – Autumn 2026

We are delighted to announce that following our successful participation in the pilot scheme, the government’s Free Breakfast Club initiative is now rolling out nationally!

Having been one of the original 750 early adopter schools, we have seen first-hand the incredible impact this scheme has on our pupils' well-being, attendance, behaviour and academic success. A nutritious meal at the start of the day helps fuel learning and we are proud to continue providing this fantastic support to all our families.

Important Updates & Timings for Autumn Term

As we transition into the national programme, please take note of our updated timings and drop-off procedure:

• Eligible Pupils: Open to all Manor Way children from Reception to Year 6.

• Breakfast Club Hours: 8:10am – 8:40am each school day.

• Prompt Drop-Off Required: Please note that there is no flexible drop-off. Children must arrive at 8:10am so they have enough time to enjoy their breakfast and settle in smoothly.

• Early Care: If you require childcare prior to 8:10am (from 7:45am), please contact the Manor Way Activity Club.

Booking & Attendance

To ensure we can maintain safe staffing ratios and cater effectively for all children, advanced booking is essential. We will be continuing our strict booking cutoff policy of booking by the Wednesday (at 12pm) preceding the week of the club to allow our team to plan effectively.
