The Friends of Manor Way group is open to all parents, teachers and friends. It is an integral part of the school community and has been for many years. Thousands of pounds have been raised which have been spent on resources and equipment to enhance the children’s education. The association provides closer links between home and school and is a brilliant way to bring staff, parents and friends together socially and all working towards a common goal.
Parents of Manor Way Primary Academy are automatically part of the Friends of Manor Way group (together with staff) and meetings are held once a month with all parents welcome to attend. The meetings are very informal and used to discuss and plan future fundraising events and where to spend the money raised! Friends of Manor Way are always looking for new and exciting ideas from parents and pupils. The Annual General Meeting is held at the beginning of the academic year and all are welcome. Upcoming organised events and meeting dates can be found in the weekly school newsletter.
The group raise funds at many events throughout the year. These include:

Friends of Manor May appreciate any help offered towards fundraising for the school. This may be new ideas, planning, helping at the organised events, selling raffle tickets or simply baking a few cakes now and then. You can help as little or as much as you like!

Hi, my name is Hayley Grossett and I have helped the FOMW group with fundraising for the last 6 years. I have 1 child at Manor Way and even though I am a busy mom of 3 I really enjoy helping organise a lot of the fantastic events here for the children and feeling part of the school community. My highlights are the Christmas and Summer Fairs – it’s just so lovely to see the children, parents and staff having so much fun together and raising funds for school at the same time!
