Parent Involvement
Parent Volunteers
We are always happy to welcome parents and carers into school as volunteers.
We have parents who come into school to hear children read, helping out in Forest Schools, walking children to the swimming baths as well as helping out on the Friends of Manor Way committee when we have school discos or other events in school.
All parents who volunteer have to undertake a DBS check and reference requests prior to coming into school.
If you would like to volunteer, please speak to the school office.
Parent and Child Questionnaire Feedback
Thank you for completing the questionnaire at Parents’ Evening. We had 78 questionnaires filled out. We know that it takes time to complete these so when we receive the questionnaires we look carefully at the responses. If there are any suggestions or considerations made by parents then either myself, Mrs Reece or Mrs Gowanlock have contacted and discussed them individually with each parent.
Your feedback has been very supportive and you have recognised that we are working really hard to improve outcomes for all children. We know there are always areas to improve and we have acted upon your replies.
